VIDEO: Brawl In Mass. Courtroom

The family members of a woman who was allegedly slain by her boyfriend attacked the boyfriend at his arraignment hearing Monday, triggering a mini melee.

As corrections deputies brought Jose C. Santiago, 30, into a Springfield District courtroom, Edwin Rojas, 46, and Kenneth Soto, 42, lunged at Santiago. One of the men is immediately detained before reaching Santiago, while the second man can be seen punching the defendant.

Santiago is accused of fatally stabbing Jessica Rojas, 25, at 3:15 a.m. Saturday in Springfield's North End. Just a few hours earlier, Rojas had celebrated her 25th birthday with family and friends at a nightclub, reports Mass Live.

Scenes like this are becoming a common event. So they throw him in jail and he has a nice vacation for the next 25 to life years at the taxpayers expense. Another young life taken out by a scumbag.

My prayers are with the Rojas Family. Her family was very emotional about their loss. I would have reacted the same way. That low-life will get his.
