Lincoln (Neb.) Police Officer Tony Howe not only enjoyed his career in law enforcement, he also was very good at it.
That was the assessment of colleagues after Howe, 37, died Wednesday night in a one-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 80 while on his way to work in Lincoln, reports the Omaha World-Herald.
Howe was married and had children. He worked the overnight shift in the criminal investigation unit, in which he handled cases involving homicide, robbery, sexual assault, burglary and auto theft.
