The rest of the story: "Card, 34, of Mt. Pleasant was on patrol on campus during the early morning hours of Sept. 11, 2011 when he agreed to give two female CMU students a ride home from O’Kelley’s Sports bar.

Card came into contact with the women and agreed to give them a ride home, but instead, drove around for several minutes, eventually winding up outside the Mt. Pleasant city limits, Burdick said.

At some point while the three were together, Card bet the women that their blood alcohol levels would be higher than .05 and that, if that were true, the two had to show him their breasts, Burdick said.

Card gave the women preliminary breath tests and both were above the .05 mark, and briefly exposed their breasts, Burdick said."

He drove two drunk girls around for several minutes and wound up outside the city limits. He's lucky they didn't get him for kidnapping in today's climate. Sounds like a classic "I was drunk and acted stupidly...why, he raped me! That's what I'll use for an excuse, it was assault, I'm certainly not responsible for my actions...I'm just a child of 19!"

Stupid shouldn't earn 5 years in prison.

Five years for this, unreal. Three adults (one cop and two drunk females), maybe the females wanted a little more actions and the cop refused!!

Yes 5 years for this crazy! Had an OVI case with vehicular manslaughter killed one female injured another, the suspect was ordered to serve six months in Jail and was granted work release. He was also placed on five year's probation. what a justice system!

So...ummm.....essentially they're charging him with a felony for being a male of the species? Something really doesn't add up here...Did the girls object to showing their breasts, or what? Sounds like a willing transaction and to be perfectly honest, I can see why he might lose his job for not having professionalism, but to be charged with a crime is a bit over the top...

Seems just a little excessive. What about the cop from So. Cal. that went skinnydipping on a loud party call? Fired and probation I believe is all he received. We should stand tall for our lack of judgement but five years? Give me a break.
