Ga. Man Shot, Killed After Ramming Patrol Cars

January 24, 2012  |

A burglary and car-theft suspect was shot and killed by Gwinnett County (Ga.) Police Monday when he rammed his stolen pickup truck into several police cars as officers scrambled to avoid being hit.

Christopher Kenney, 24, was being sought on outstanding warrants and in connection with multiple burglaries and car thefts, reports the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

The officers attempted to stop Kenney from ramming the cars by cornering the truck with their patrol vehicles and deploying stop sticks. Officers attempted to jump on the truck to stop Kenney.
