Newark Cops Return To Duty

Newark welcomed back nine police officers on Monday, the first of 29 Newark Police officers to return to active duty that will be funded by a federal grant obtained in 2011, reports the Star-Ledger.

Another 20 police officers will return by Feb. 1, Mayor Cory Booker announced.
