Mich. Campus Chief Commits Suicide

A public memorial service has been set for Eastern Michigan University Police Chief Greg O'Dell, who was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Friday.
O'Dell, 54, had returned to EMU after serving four months as the police chief for the University of Michigan. He had also served an an Ann Arbor Police officer for several decades, reports the Detroit Free Press.
The memorial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Pease Auditorium at EMU.
