Baltimore Cop Shot By Colleague During Task Force Raid

A Baltimore County Police officer accidently shot a Baltimore Police detective when he fired his gun inside a house in Odenton on Tuesday returned fire at the "perceived threat."
The Baltimore PD officer was struck several times in the arm, reports the Baltimore Sun.
Police had gone to the house in the 100 block of Pine Cove Ave. searching for a drug suspect. They arrested the man, Vernon Andre Jackson, 38, outside the residence.
Members of the multi-jurisdictional warrant task force were searching inside the home, the Baltimore County officer accidentally fired his weapon. Police said a city detective who was wounded from a through and through wound to the arm returned fire.
