N.M. State Police Investigate Sheriff's Apparent Suicide

A New Mexico sheriff has died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, and state police have launched an investigation into his death.
Lea County (N.M.) Sheriff Rod Coffman was found dead at his home at 11:30 p.m. Sunday, reports KRQE.
