Mo. Chief Succumbs to Crash Injuries

The Leadwood (Mo.) Police Chief has died of injuries he suffered in a crash while on duty last week.
Chief Jerry Hicks, 69, was injured Nov. 29 when his car hit a tree in Washington County. The police chief's cruiser lost control after hitting a patch of ice on a highway bridge, reports the Kansas City Star.
