November 22, 2011
|
A gunman who taunted Houston Police officers to "Shoot Me! Shoot Me!" near the camp of the city's Occupy protesters got his wish, as officers shot him twice when he refused to drop a .40-caliber rifle.
Joshua Anthony Twohig, 21, was shot twice and is expected to recover. He had pointed the rifle at his head and walked toward officers near Tranquility Park during an Occupy Houston rally. He has no known connection to the protesters, reports the Houston Chronicle.
