Mich. Deputy Rescues Stunned Deer

A Huron County (Mich.) Sheriff's deputy rescued a stunned deer that was stuck in the roadway for 25 minutes after being struck by a car.

A Huron County (Mich.) Sheriff's deputy rescued a stunned deer that was stuck in the roadway for 25 minutes after being struck by a car, reports the Detroit Free-Press.

Deputy Ryan Swartz responded to an accident call in Dwight Township to find a deer that hadn't budged from the roadway after it was struck by a vehicle. In dash-cam video from the scene, Swartz decided to move the doe out of the roadway to prevent another accident from happening.

In the video, Deputy Swartz is seen touching the doe, and later moving it from its position on the roadway.
