kates @ 11/8/2011 6:17 AM

their only concerns is taxes not how many of us is killed in the line of duty it not their kids.

DWF @ 11/8/2011 6:57 AM

Great time for political pronouncements. What does that have to do with the fact this officer was killed during a robbery?

deportega @ 11/8/2011 7:42 AM

Don't get involved in ANYTHING OFF DUTY. Cops need to carry theirs guns for their OWN or family's protection. Don't advertise to the streets that your an off duty cop. We're criticzed, sued, unappreciated, or killed for trying to do the right thing off duty. That's the world we live in. So sad.....

janet @ 11/8/2011 7:47 AM

My prayers are with the family of Detective Morgan. Rest in peace. They need to catch the scum bag if they haven't and give him what for. Another innocent life taken in the line of duty. The court system need to be tougher on these criminals and maybe just maybe they will think twice before doing a crime. Or they can do what as some of these foreign countries. If you steal with the right hand, chop it off. Let the punishment fit the crime!

tlbader @ 11/8/2011 8:28 AM

Am I missing something? What the hell does the loss of a young brother officer in performance of duty have to do with benefits or politics? What kind of idiot would interject such a comment into this tragedy? Save your idiotic politics for a more appropriate forum.

J.Delgado @ 11/8/2011 8:48 AM

Rest In Peace Det. Morgan.

James Kojak @ 11/8/2011 8:51 AM

God bless you Detective Morgan and your family. Thank you for your service. You went beyond the call of duty, in the finest tradition of a peace officer, you set an example to all, and made the ultimate sacrafice for your fellow man. You are the a hero and will be remembered for your courage and selflessness.

m.conner @ 11/8/2011 2:06 PM

Rest in Peace. Your service against crime will always be remembered.

As stated above, the coward that shot you will get his.

terry @ 11/12/2011 6:22 PM

Rest in peace, prayers to your family
