Grim Sleeper Serial Killer Helped LAPD Detectives Link Victim To Him
October 31, 2011
|
Los Angeles Police detectives now believe the Grim Sleeper serial killer called 911 after killing one of his victims, leaving a voice recording that ultimately helped connect him to the murder.
Lonnie Franklin Jr. has been charged with 10 murders of women, mostly prostitutes and drug users, in South Los Angeles over several decades.
Franklin also apparently called dispatchers after two murders he has already been charged with, reports the Los Angeles Times.
