Driver Chokes to Death, After Swallowing Bag of Weed

A man who was being pursued by police choked to death, after swallowing a plastic bag containing marijuana.

Curtis Patterson, 40, died of asphyxiation at 3:05 a.m. Saturday at the Alle-Kiski Medical Center. Earlier in the day, Patterson had been pursued by police from various departments including Brackenridge, East Deer, New Kensington and Tarentum. Officers watching him swallow the bag, after stopping him.
