An Ellsworth (Maine) Police officer likely saved a man's life early Sunday, when he pulled him from a burning vehicle after bystanders were unable to open the car's door.
Officer Andrew Weatherbee used his collapsible baton to shatter the vehicle's rear window and pulled 33-year-old Shaun Parsons to safety as flames spread through the vehicle.
Parsons had driven off Bayside Road at 6:35 a.m.
