An off-duty Florida sheriff's deputy suffered minor injuries, after tackling a suspect who tried to steal cash from a donation jar for terminally ill children.
Michael Wayne Aurilio, 27, was at the Kangaroo convenience store at 9:39 a.m. Wednesday, when he grabbed a jar with $35.78 near the cash register. Marion County Sheriff's Sgt. William Dietrich was behind Aurilio and attempted to take him into custody, when the men crashed through a plate-glass door.
The deputy suffered minor injuries.

Good job Sgt. Dietrich! He was in the right place at the right time. Shame on Michael Aurilio stealing from the terminally ill children. He got what he deserved.
