Iowa Officer's Duty Death Not Suspicious

The Anamosa (Iowa) Police department lost one of its patrol officers in a line-of-duty death the chief has said did not involve suspicious circumstances.
Officer David Shane Riches, 34, was a full time Anamosa officer, and a part time deputy for the Jones County Sheriff's Department. Anamosa Chief Robert Simonson said he would release additional details following the autopsy.
