The Chicago Police Department is naming several of its K-9 dogs in honor of the first responders who lost their lives in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Officer Nick Spencer's black Labrador retriever Ggillis (with the extra "g") is named after Sgt. Rodney Gillis, an NYPD sergeant who was killed after racing into the World Trade Center.
