An Atlanta Police officer living in south Fulton County, Ga., shot and killed a man who was attempting to break into his home on Wednesday morning.
Officer Robert Livsey was at home waiting for an HVAC repairman. The officer was planning to move into the home next month with his fiancee, Kimberly Taylor. The couple got engaged last month.
Apparently, the burglar entered through a window around 8:45 a.m. Shortly afterward, Fulton County (Ga.) Police received a 911 call from the home. It's not known whether the officer used his service weapon.
