Conn. Troopers Get Pink Slips

The Connecticut State Police will lay off 56 state troopers, marking the first time in 20 years that state patrol officers will be laid off.
The rookie troopers are being laid off in a cost-cutting move, said Gov. Dannel P. Malloy.
