NYPD Cop Accused of Gunpoint Rape Says DA Targeted Him
August 22, 2011

The New York City police officer who has been arrested for allegedly raping a school teacher at gunpoint is claiming the Manhattan District Attorney is targeting him because a jury acquitted two officers of rape earlier this year.
Officer Michael Pena, 27, is accused of pointing his 9mm service weapon at a 25-year-old Bronx teacher and raping her behind an Inwood apartment building on Friday morning.
In an interview with the Daily News, Pena said the DA is "arresting cops, indicting cops."
