N.C. Cop Fired at Vehicle That Struck Him

A Fayetteville (N.C.) Police officer fired at a vehicle that had backed into him early Sunday morning, halting the car and resulting in two arrests.
The incident began at about 3 a.m. Sunday on the 600 block of South King Street, when Officer Jon Rickett, 30, spotted a vehicle down a gravel road. He went to investigate, and the vehicle backed into him. He fired at the car, stopping it.
Two suspects were arrested for soliciting prostitution.
