Ex-NYPD Cop Acquitted of Rape Sentenced for Misconduct

The former New York City police officer acquitted of raping a woman in an East Village apartment was sentenced to a year in jail for his conviction on official misconduct charges.
Officer Kenneth Moreno was sentenced Monday for the misconduct stemming from repeated visits with his partner, Franklin Mata, to the drunken woman's apartment.
