Ten motor officers with the Los Angeles Police Department have sued the agency, claiming they faced retaliation and were denied promotions for not complying with illegal ticket quotas.
The officers, who were all assigned to the West Traffic Division, said they were reprimanded, denied overtime and promotions, or deprived of vacations after they objected to the quotas.
