Oregon Trooper Rescues Man with Head Pinned Under Truck
July 28, 2011
|
An Oregon State Police trooper patrolling an area he usually doesn't patrol rescued a man whose head was pinned under a pickup truck near Dorena Lake south of Eugene.
Trooper Marc Boyd was patrolling an area south of the lake, when he came across Mike Martin, who had attempted to fix a mechanical problem on his truck but instead became wedged under the vehicle.
Trooper Boyd flagged down another driver and the two men used a tow strap to secure Martin's Chevy so the officer could use his truck to remove the truck from his head.
