Three Charged In Death of San Diego Cop

Murder charges have been filed against three people in the shooting death of a San Diego (Calif.) Police officer, while he was storming an apartment in October.

Alex Charfauros, 26, Melissa Ortiz, 21, and Patrick Luangrath, 19, are charged in the death of Officer Chris Wilson, 50, a 17-year veteran of the police department.

Officer Wilson and other officers were searching for a possible probation violator, when the officer was fatally shot. Officer Wilson's memorial service in November drew 4,000 supporters.
