Three Houston Police officers were injured when their two cruisers collided early this morning near a north Houston station.
Police identified the officers as O. Brown, R. Pederson, and J. Roberts. Here's the account of the crash in the Houston Chronicle:
Police said Pederson and Roberts were in a squad car that had stopped a motorist who was northbound on West Montgomery. The squad car was in a lane of traffic with its emergency lights on after the traffic stop when another police cruiser, driven by Brown, that was on an emergency call slammed into the rear right side of the police car, hit a curb and then careened through a fence.
