Detroit Homicide Sergeant Killed In Motorcycle Wreck

A Detroit Police homicide sergeant died Sunday after being critically injured in a crash last week in St. Clair County.
Michael Martell, 42, died at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center. He had not been wearing a helmet.
Martell went off the road while riding west on Pointe Tremble Road near Island Drive in Clay Township about 12:30 a.m. Friday.
