Man Charged with Vehicular Murder of Texas Officer

John Wesley Nero, 30 of Beaumont, Texas, who’s accused of intentionally ramming a patrol car with his fleeing sport utility vehicle, killing a police officer, has been charged with capital murder.
His bond was set at $250,000.
He remains in a hospital in serious condition for injuries he sustained in the crash Friday night.
