July 07, 2011
|
A 34-year-old man who killed seven people earlier in the day killed himself during a barricade with police, after releasing one of two hostages.
Police surrounded the home in Grand Rapids, Mich., and began negotiating with suspected gunman Rodrick Dantzler, who had apparently took two hostages that he did not previously know. The seven victims, which included two children, were found at two homes. Dantzler knew at least one victim at each of the homes.
