Navajo Nation Officer Killed Responding to Domestic Call

A Navajo Nation sergeant died as a result of gunshot wounds suffered while responding to a domestic violence call in the small town of Kaibito, Ariz., south of Page.
Sgt. Darrell Curley was shot Saturday evening and died later at a hospital in Page. He has been with the Navajo Nation Police Department since 1985. A second officer was wounded, treated, and released.
