Off-Duty Ga. Officer Robbed, Shot at Home

An off-duty DeKalb County (Ga.) Police officer was shot during a confrontation with a robbery suspect who entered his apartment early Monday.
Officer Landers Burton, 32, was shot in the buttocks during an armed robbery at his Stone Mountain apartment complex. Two men fled the scene with the officer's wallet.
A 21-year-old suspect who had earlier been a person of interest has been taken into custody in connection with the incident.
