NTOA Gives BlackHawk Warrior Wear High Marks

June 14, 2011 |

BlackHawk Athletic Polo.
BlackHawk's Warrior Wear athletic polo and crew shirt have received high marks by the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA).

The Warrior Wear Athletic Polo received an overall score of 4.64 (of 5) with the high marks for size, quality, durability, comfort and maintenance. The Warrior Wear Crew Shirt received an overall score of 4.69 (of 5) with high marks for size, quality, durability, comfort and maintenance.

The polo and shirt are both constructed of a polyester/bamboo blend fabric in a double knit pique with moisture-wicking and antimicrobial finishes. Worn under duty uniforms or body armor, the shirts provide comfort and control odor and moisture, according to the company. Testers found the shirts kept them reasonably cool and dry throughout their daily activities both on and off duty.

BlackHawk Athletic Crew.
The Athletic Polo features a high-performance, modern fit with short, raglan-style sleeves for a better range of motion. The Polo has a media player pocket on the left sleeve with a buttonhole to route the cord to keep an mp3 player secure and discreet. The Athletic Crew shirt is a pullover-style, lightweight shirt designed for the serious athlete.

Both shirts have tagless labels at the neck for ultimate comfort whether worn under uniforms or worn casually. The shirts are available in three solid colors (black, navy, and gray) with a contrast color insert at the shoulders, back of the neck and the underarms.

The Athletic Polo retails for $39.99, and the Athletic Crew retails for $36.99.
