A Bexar County (Texas) Sheriff's deputy was killed in a hail of semi-automatic gunfire early Saturday while he sat in his marked unit at a traffic light.

so happy to hear about it, bet it was for revenge, or the drug cartel is targeting American cops !! This deputy is rumored to be a real abuser to people on the street, also his wife is under suspicion, well one down thousands to go HA HA HA

Sgt. Mike @ 5/30/2011 12:03 PM

Do not know who you are Walker but I believe you need to move on somewhere else. Advocating that cops be killed is uncalled for, especially here in the aftermath of a senseless killing.

You will find no friends here.

sean @ 5/30/2011 12:20 PM

So sad my prayers go out to his family

Blacksmith1189 @ 5/30/2011 12:22 PM

Walker b webber, I'm willing to bet you are nothing but a coward and have never spent one day protecting any citizen on the streets of the United States! I don't find the HA HA's funny at all, especially concerning the death of a law enforcement officer sitting at a traffic light. Imagine that happening so someone in your family and tell us if it's still funny!

Pops @ 5/30/2011 12:30 PM

Walker b webber is a low life scumbag from under a rock who needs to crawl back under the rock he came from.

Justin @ 5/30/2011 12:36 PM

Hey why doesnt a Computer Forensic person determine the origin of the Walker character below and being them up on charges of uttering!?!

Phil Shelton @ 5/30/2011 1:08 PM

I did a search on walker and found where he posted on Police before claiming to e an ex officer. Of course I also found his name on pages about UFOs and mythical creatures. Apparently he us off his meds.

Special Agent Roy @ 5/30/2011 1:28 PM

These scumbags walk amongst us and they vote.

Peace Warrior @ 5/30/2011 1:31 PM

Webmaster. Please do something about this walker b webber!

Jager1 @ 5/30/2011 1:35 PM

I hope walker b needs the help of the police one day and they are tied up on other calls. Maybe he will get his ass kicked or someone will shoot him. Anyone who can laugh at the ambush killing of a police officer is a scum bag and deserves whatever he gets. Just my opinion. May God bless and protect all of you that are part of the thin blue line. RIP Sgt Vann.

Kevin J. Ryan @ 5/30/2011 1:40 PM

People like Walker B. Webber walk among us everyday and vote just like the people who shot the officer. (My guess is that they don't vote) I am a Deputy Sheriff and those comments anger me but our concern should be for the slain officer and his family. This tragedy must remind all peace officers that there are individuals out to hurt us just for what we do. I pray nightly for all officers to be safe and to come home to their families. To all officers, train hard and be safe.

Lt. Dan @ 5/30/2011 1:42 PM

So sorry for the officer's family. May justice be done.

wwalker webber @ 5/30/2011 3:02 PM

OH! boo hoo DID I STEP ON YOUR TOES> Dont say something you dont know anything about, i was a police officer for 23 yrs made rank of Lt.before i was 40 yrs of age. I was beat almost to death by the texas dept of public safety trooper while i was on vacation in south texas, why{none of your business} However i do have freedom of speechDONT I?if you can bring meup on charges for uttering the truth then go ahead and try,the FACT remains if they, who ever they are start taking out the abusers , THEY WILL HAVE THOUSANDS TO GO!!

wwalker webber @ 5/30/2011 3:08 PM

i would really like to know how many of you responders to my comment are real certified police officers instead of security guards- wont to be cops. Like certified like i am err was , i am a old man now!i was mandated in 1980 i have a solid background on the streets and have lots of plaques and comendations i used the plaques for firewood! Show me your certification and i will show you mine! No takers i bet!

wwalker webber @ 5/30/2011 3:21 PM

HA HA HA Hey you must be a computer guru, andalso a psychic, i am on meds but i am not off of them. You see this is a little experiment to show how the gang mentality responds to my comments!! Its very clear you all wont blood , If you wont to persecute me go ahead you cant scare me . I also have sent lots of mail like this to the dps office in austin you dont think for one minute there going to investigate my beating by there trooper {GESTAPO} who almost killed me over a simple traffic violation! Its o.k for jager1to hope maybe i will get my ass kicked or shot, I dont see any of you jumping on his case , so double standard. kevin j. ryan really you are a real certified police officer BULLSHIT!

Walker @ 5/30/2011 3:30 PM

AusFost1 @ 5/30/2011 3:49 PM

Vale, Sgt Vann. We have just had one of ours gunned down here in Queensland, Australia: we thank you for your service, and our prayers are with your family, both blood and blue. Rest, brother. "Greater love hath no man...".

Max @ 5/30/2011 3:57 PM

Walker, the sign of immaturity shown by you shows that you are no real man. Either you are telling the truth and was an actual liutenant (I'm sorry for the officers that had to serve under your incompability.) but you must of been the worst officer on the force to believe that one of your own dieing is funny. I doubt you ever served this nation or proteccted anyone except your own selfish ass while throwing others into harms way. I believe I speak on the behalf of all other officers reading yours and my comments by saying: turn in your badge and gun because you are a discrage to your department.

jparedes @ 5/30/2011 4:14 PM

Let's honor our fallen brother and don't waste time with this clown. Relentless - Steadfast - Resilient!

walker b webber @ 5/30/2011 4:40 PM

HEY MAX{ wont ta be a cop.} I was a good police officer i was very good or i would not of made Lt,i can assure you that part is true!! What turned me?MONEY and watching all the corruption from commanders down to street patrol.Getting abused by a br. law enforcement officer , -Especially the gestapo troopers of the Texas, i was in a coma for 3 days! So i have been on both sides and you can be assured i have good cause to to be the way i am about the Texas GESTAPO! Now as far as this officer getting killed by some so called drive-by is questionable i bet that there is alot more to it !!!!! Also you cant berate me , your as corrupt as any of them according to what i have heard from the admin. YOU ARE A fony- A DREAMER AND A FELON FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD SO , WHAT SAY YE????

Wayne L Chonicki @ 5/30/2011 8:02 PM

Today is Memorial Day... a day of rememberance for ALL THOSE who gave their lives to protect US Citizens, abroad or HERE. Few other jobs does one's spouse need dread the ring of a telephone, the knock upon their door every day their partner goes off to work. Let us active or retired PEACE Officers pray for a fallen brother, and even more so... pray for those he now can only protect in God's Spirit. And while we're on the subject... let's say one for Mr. Walker B. Webber that the good Lord permits him His grace to bear the anguish of all those of his kind bring needlessly upon others. Not all prayers are prayers for mercy or forgiveness! Rev. Wayne L. Chonicki, B.P.D. #157 Ret., SSGT USAF, Ret.

Joe Furtmann @ 5/30/2011 10:26 PM

Another tragedy perpetrated by a lowlife coward. So many things could be said here, but I'll limit my comments to expressing my condolences to his family, friends and co-workers, from a brother north of the 49th.

T.Parker @ 5/30/2011 10:31 PM

Well B Webber Like SGT said you need to go find another site, I am a student in the process of getting into law enforcement. I find that your remarks could be on the edge of terrorist threats. You should watch your words and your actions. There should be no reason why people should kill cops, there just out doing there jobs, they do not need rude people to talk crap and kill them. I am shocked this year we have lost 75 cops already this is a real difficult year for LEOS. My prayers and condolence goes out to the family. I DO NOT CARE HOW MUCH THE COP IS CORRUPT TURN IT IN, DO NOT KILL THEM.

T.Parker @ 5/30/2011 10:34 PM

Webber, since you claim to be a ex peace officer, what department and what is your retirement badge number.

K.Dansby @ 5/30/2011 11:08 PM

RIP Officer Vann, May GOD Bless you and your family.

Rick Bonneau @ 5/31/2011 5:01 AM

The simple fact of the matter is that anytime there is a loss of life of a brother it is a sad event. Walker, you obviously think you are gods gift to the profession. I retire in seven months and will retire from my profession with my head held high proud of my accomplishments. On the other hand, if you are "burning plaques" you obviously strayed off of the beaten path somewhere and have done something in your career that you are ashamed of and were probably caught red handed and forced out. I don't need to see your "certification" to know that you are a dirtbag, coward and a disgrace to the noble profession that I chose and loved for 30 years. You have to live withy the fact that you are what you are. I go home at night, every night with pride, integrity and a great satisfaction in doing what I do. God help you find yourself.

Patriot73 @ 5/31/2011 5:35 AM

Ignore Webber guys, he wants us to rant and rave. Ignore him and don't give him the satisfaction of getting under or skin.

Our prayers go out to Deputy Vann.

Bpd3619 @ 5/31/2011 6:41 AM

God Bless Deputy Vann and his family, Our Prayers go out to you.

Harry Lee @ 5/31/2011 7:02 AM

walker i see many of your family lying dead on the road every day (opussums, animals wandering aimlessly in the dark, with no vision who cannot avoid a collision) and yours is coming, and there will a Law Enforcement Officers ther to help even a low life like you.

Former Deputy @ 5/31/2011 10:15 AM

R.I.P. Sheepdog, your watch is complete.
Walker... I hope you choke on your male poodle's... well, I'm sure your intelligent enough to figure it out.

Mac @ 5/31/2011 10:50 AM

Reminds us that ambushes can and do happen, and that we can never drop our guard.

Mac @ 5/31/2011 10:53 AM

Also reminds us that idiots walker webber are all over the internet giving their paranoid and delusional opinions wherever they can.....but hey, at least it keeps them off the streets, and barricaded in their mothers basement with tinfoil hats to block out the mind control beams, as they attempt to educate the 'brainwashed masses' about 'the truth'. Most of them are harmless.

Jim Davenport @ 5/31/2011 11:06 AM

Eterrnal peace to our brother officer. Peace, healing and swift justice for his family, friends ad colleagues.

This has been a terrible year for police in deaths by gunfire, to be killed by a coward in ambush is even more tragic. If you pull up to a light, stay back far enough so an assailant would have to try to reach back to shoot and note people driving on either side. I know it's uncomfortable, as we're stared at all the time. I truly believe things will get worse before they improve. Stay Safe everyone!!

walker b webber @ 5/31/2011 1:04 PM

MAC ha ha ha where on earth and how do you know about tin foil hats? perhaps your visiting the sites also. NO i am not in a basement i own a a 3 story home and am very well off when you compare the middle class , i am above that way above!!! So maybe you should just accept the fact that you couldn't qualify to become a officer of the law! Now all that's available to you is security work.and your fantasy.adios loser

William @ 6/1/2011 7:42 AM

Condolences to Sgt. Vonn's family and friends. As far as walker b weber I'd like to invite you and a companion to Chicago, and be my guests at the largest county facility in the country. Cook County's facility has been featured on msnbc, and Discovery! It has accommodated some very well known individuals, even Al Capone stayed with us. So, COME ON DOWN! We'll be waiting with open arms. (And clentched fists) Peace to my brothers and sisters in blue!

walker b webber @ 6/1/2011 3:21 PM

WHAT A CROCK William, cook county jail huh? First thing i would have to commit a crime in cook county to be eligible to eat there baloney sandwich.clenched fist?? Ha ha ha your a wimp and a coward also. Wouldn't be hard to beat me up i am a old man 71 yrs old , but i guess you and your gang would say -- SHOOT MAN, ME AND BRS. COULD HAVE WHIPPED EVEN IF HE WAS A 100!!you real boring with your same old clenched fist quote! i laugh out loud!Don't you know you cant beat old age and treachery????come down to texas and check out the cameron cty jail, you would be made a little girl in about 5 miniutes by the mexican gangters there, clenched fist??? Nope ky jelly for you.

walker b webber @ 6/2/2011 7:59 AM

William clenched fist, OH i think you are a corrections officer, and you have first hand knowledge of prisoner abuse{maybe because you are a abuser } you couldn't qualify to become a real police officer because your to short. and weight is beyond most weight scales ability to weigh correctly.I believe your a abuser as you wont to scare me with your come -on down threat! i suppose when you fit the profile of a abuser then you also fit the abuser profile of spouse abuse, {hope that's not to deep for you} you just might have a record of abuse and your just what the cook county want s {GOONS}

bill @ 6/2/2011 8:22 AM

HEY all you people getting on walker b. webbers ass lay off will you?He is100% correct, 85% of you have abused someone and your not kidding anybody, your so transparent!! I would be willing to bet 65% of you responding to this ,are not real law enforcement officers, mostly wont to be and security Guards!!!what a joke you are and this guy named harry lee }wants you too think he is the retired sheriff of new Orleans , but he is really a cook in a Chinese restaurant!!! I have done a check on this webber character and he is in Michigan alright, and he 71 yrs old and as far as his law enforcement career i cant find any info, that doesn't mean that he wasn't a police officer.Any way, i know lots of people who have come out of the county jails and report horror mostly from the jail staff and intake,as i work for a criminal defense firm in Houston Texas, and i can assure you there is torture and blood , one prisoner was stitched up {from cutting himself} with no novocaine , he told his atty the jail Dr said, you cut it with no pain killer so you damn well take this stitching with none! He won almost 3/4 of a million dollars! The abuse charges are always a concern to who??Not the so called protect and serve crowd, that's a joke, however most brass in the dept will try and hush it up or file more charges {most of them phony }SO is there a reason for people to be up in arms agaist the protect and serve crowd, i would suggest you look at the stats concerning abuse of the public by law enforcement !!NOT PRETTY!!!

Davesam25G @ 6/4/2011 12:39 AM

Rest in peace and may your wife & Children find some solace in this terrible tragedy...

be the best @ 6/11/2011 7:55 AM

Cowards dont know the evil walking the streets. To kill a cop means evil knows no bounds. walker go to a police funeral and ou will change your tune.

walker @ 7/10/2011 7:58 PM

fuck you pal, i have been to a policemans funeral, officer jimmy green of Atlanta p.di wrote to eulogy poem for his funeral. So maybe you should listen instead of opening your pie hole so much.that was many years ago , i have retired and learned to hate, depise, loathe the texas highway gestapo.they are gangters deluxe!!!all the way to the top , the rangers are a real bunch of child molesters, and queers who like to suck a shitty cock after it has been up there mothers ass!!!

Dee Howell @ 7/16/2011 12:58 PM

A white rap artist named Haystack (real name Jason Winfrey) has a song about cathcing people at the red light and killing them with a pistol, it appeals to gangs. He has other songs that reference disdain for Officers brag about breaking the law and claiming Police harrassment. If you can stand to listen to it , it is a street wise education about what Law Enforcement Officers are up against. Gangs and wanna be gang people listen to this stuff, idolize it's authors and carry this mind set. Law Enforcement Officers need to position their vehicles off set from other vehicles at an interrsection, further back is best to prevent a straight shot at our Officers.
