Newark Officer Fatally Shot While Off Duty

A Newark (N.J.) Police officer was fatally shot Thursday evening in a drive-by shooting, while ordering pizza and dressed in plainclothes.
William Johnson, 45, was a 16-year veteran of the force. Two others were also injured when an unknown assailant pulled up and opened fire into the crowded Texas Fried Chicken and Pizza from inside a moving car.
