Alabama Motor Officer Killed Escorting Funeral

A Tuscaloosa (Ala.) Police officer was killed, when a driver in a funeral procession made an unexpected U-turn and struck the motor officer.
Officer Trevor Scott Phillips, 42, was killed Saturday afternoon. Phillips was thrown from his motorcycle when a driver pulled out of the procession, and the officer struck the vehicle.
