Hawaii Breaks Ground on LE Memorial

A "long overdue" memorial honoring Hawaii's fallen law enforcement officers has broken ground at the Honolulu Hale Civic Grounds where 61 officers who gave the ultimate sacrifice will be honored.
The winning design for the memorial was one of 30 entries submitted. A team of six students from the University of Hawaii School of Architecture said they were humbled that their design was chosen.
