Illegal Immigrant Charged with Border Agent's Murder

Manuel Osorio-Arellanes, 34, from El Fuerte in northern Sinaloa, became the first person charged in Agent Terry's Dec. 14 shooting. Osario-Arellanes was charged with second-degree murder and is not believed to be the shooter.

An illegal immigrant who had been deported in 2010 has been formally charged in the shooting of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.

Manuel Osorio-Arellanes, 34, from El Fuerte in northern Sinaloa, became the first person charged in Agent Terry's Dec. 14 shooting. Osario-Arellanes was charged with second-degree murder and is not believed to be the shooter.

Terry, 40, was a member of the specially trained Bortac unit and on the evening of the attack was tracking a "rip crew" that assaults and robs drug traffickers.
