Beaverton (Ore.) Police officers arrested a man on the roof of a duplex, after a standoff with police.
A K-9 officer had tracked 40-year-old Stephan Pool to the rooftop, after he had attempted to break into a home on Southwest Ridgecrest Drive on Monday evening.
Investigators said Pool appeared to be under the influence of drugs, possibly methamphetamine. Pool yelled obscenities at officers and attempted to push away a ladder officers used to reach him.
