April 28, 2011

A New York man was arrested twice in a matter of hours by the same state troopers for allegedly driving drunk.
Wilbert A. Elvy, 46, was first stopped by state troopers in Poughkeepsie for driving a 1999 Cadillac Escalade and failing to dim its high beams. He was arrested on a drunken driving charge.
The same troopers noticed his SUV later weaving across the centerline. Troopers then arrested Elvy again for a second drunk driving charge.

This is the problem we all have with our state laws and procedures. I feel if you get arrested for DUI, you should have to stay 24 hrs min. I mean lets make a point with this. If it's your second DUI then you must see the judge unless it's a weekend, then you must post bail....no cites.
