Charges Dropped Against 2 of 3 In Pa. Cop's Shooting

April 21, 2011  |

Authorities have withdrawn charges against two of the three men involved in a home invasion shooting that has left a Clairton (Pa.) Police officer in critical condition.

Charges have been dropped against Travis Evans, 19, and Myles Hutchinson, 21, and are pending against Marcus Andrejco, 18. One of the victims had picked Evans in a lineup, reports the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Officer James Kuzak, 39, has been hospitalized since the April 4 incident where he confronted the shooters as they attempted to flee through the rear of the home. The men may have posed as FBI agents to gain entry to the home.
