Parole Board Denies Appeal for Miss. Sheriff's Killer

For the fifth time since the killing of Marshall County (Miss.) Sheriff Osborne Bell, Bart Mease has been denied parole.
The state's Parole Board declined Mease's appeal in the 1986 shooting death of Sheriff Bell during a traffic stop, reports the Commercial Appeal.
The sheriff was shot while assisting his cousin arrest Bell and a female companion.
