Three More Bodies Found at Long Island Beach

April 05, 2011  |

The bodies of three more women were discovered at a Long Island beach believed to be a serial killer's dumping ground, reports the New York Daily News.

So far, eight women have been found in Suffolk County between Gilgo Beach and Oak Beach since last summer. At least four were Craigslist hookers. Police are still searching for escort Shannan Gilbert, who has been missing since December. The county's medical examiner will work to determine whether one of the three bodies found Monday is Gilbert, who had a metal plate in her jaw.
