The Fond du Lac (Wis.) Police Department and other well-wishers laid to rest Officer Craig Birkholz in Kenosa on Saturday, a week after the officer was fatally shot by a barricaded subject.

Officer Williams was welcomed home by friends and family on Friday after leaving the hospital, reports the Fond du Lac Reporter.
