The man investigators believe fatally shot a Sandusky (Ohio) Police officer early Saturday has been charged with aggravated murder.
Kevin Randleman, 50, is suspected of firing on Officer Andrew Dunn, 30. The two exchanged gunfire at 3:30 a.m., after Dunn contacted Randleman while he rode his bicycle, reports the Sandusky Register.
Officer Andrew Dunn was known as a selfless family man who followed his father Matt into a law enforcement career with the Sandusky PD. Officer Dunn was hired as a reserve officer in 2003, and made a full-time officer in 2008. He was briefly laid off last year in a round of budget cuts, until the agency hired him back.
