California Woman Shook Off TASER, Advanced on Officer with Weapon

The woman who first attacked a man then advanced toward a Long Beach (Calif.) Police officer with a sharp object has died from wounds suffered after the officer fired to stop her, reports the Los Angeles Times.
The officer had ordered the woman to drop the object, and then deployed his TASER, which was ineffective. The officer was then forced to use his sidearm.
