St. Louis Saves 65 Officer Positions

St. Louis Metro Police Chief Dan Isom announced that 65 officer positions would be saved in next year's budget, and at the same time warned that officer positions may be cut the following year as grant funding dries up, reports the St. Louis Dispatch.
The department had considered eliminating the positions through attrition to help close a $2.5 million budget shortfall.
