Fla. Cop Killer Turns Self In, After Mom Tells Him To 'Man Up'

A 16-year-old turned himself in late Tuesday for the fatal shooting of St. Petersburg (Fla.) Police Officer David Crawford, after his mother told him to "man up" and admit what he did, reports the Tampa Tribune.
Nicholas Lindsay Jr. made his first court appearance today and will likely be charged as an adult for first-degree murder.
Lindsay's mother said she knew it was her son, when she watched surveillance video footage posted by the St. Petersburg PD showing an African-American in a hoodie sweatshirt. The department also located two flip-flops at the scene of the shooting that are now being tested for DNA.
