Arlington PD Made 59 Super Bowl Prostitution Arrests

In the 11-day run-up to the Super Bowl, the Arlington (Texas) Police Department's undercover vice unit made 59 arrests of prostitutes, including 13 directly attributable to the event, reports The Star-Telegram.
Arlington undercover officers called escort services' phone numbers listed in local publications and scoured the Web for sex-trade advertisements to set up meetings with suspects to make the arrests from Jan. 27 to Feb. 6.
