Teen Kills Self With Texas Deputy's Gun

A teenager with an outstanding felony warrant wrestled away an El Paso County (Texas) Sheriff's deputy's gun after a foot pursuit, and then turned it on himself, reports the Houston Chronicle.
The deputy chased down 19-year-old Salome Alvarez, who had an extensive criminal record, late Friday. Alvarez tackled the deputy, took away his gun and pointed it at the deputy before using the weapon on himself.
